This is not a tomahawk, but it is actually a similar cut.... this is a Frenched rib steak chop.
It is humongous and tasty.
Sear it, barbecue it off the heat for a half hour... flip a few times ... let it rest 10 mins... salt n pepper only
A tomahawk has a giant bone (like the handke of a tomahawk)... this has a 3inch bone

I was looking forward to presenting this nice tomahawk at a family dinner as you see in the movies with the long bone sticking out.. the past order I received a tomahawk with a little nub roughly 2 inches long. Somewhat disappointed.
